Taj City New Cairo

Taj City is a large-scale mixed-use urban development by Madinet Masr, strategically located on the Cairo–Suez Road in New Cairo, with direct connectivity to the Ring Road. It is positioned opposite the JW Marriott Hotel and within convenient reach of Cairo International Airport, Nasr City, Heliopolis, Cairo Festival City, and New Cairo’s principal districts. The development extends across approximately 3.7 million square metres and is designed to combine tranquil residential living with strong urban accessibility. Taj City includes apartments, studios, duplexes, townhouses, twin houses, standalone villas, offices, retail destinations, medical facilities, educational institutions, and leisure venues. Its residential communities include Taj Sultan, Taj Gardens, Park Residence, Shalya, Lake Park Studios, Taj Ville, Elect, Clubside, Kinda, Origami, and Origami Golf. Each community offers a distinct architectural concept, unit mix, landscape design, and lifestyle proposition. The wider master plan incorporates clubhouses, international schools, sports facilities, landscaped parks, water features, pedestrian routes, mosques, commercial districts, community centres, and structured parking facilities. Taj Sultan, the first community within Taj City, was launched in October 2012 and is already home to more than 1,000 families. Several phases have been completed and occupied, while other residential and commercial components remain under construction or development. Taj City is therefore classified as an operational, partially delivered master-planned city rather than a single-phase residential compound.
