Canyon 8 New Capital

Canyon 8 is a new residential compound developed by Hometown Developments on approximately 25 acres in plot F3 of the R8 residential district in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. The project occupies a distinctive three-sided location facing the 95-metre-wide Airport Road, an 80-metre main street, and a sports club extending over approximately 40 acres. It is also positioned close to the monorail station, Misr Mosque, the Government District, the Capital International Airport, and several major destinations within the New Capital. The master plan adopts a relatively low-density residential concept. Approximately 70% of the property distribution is allocated to villas, townhouses, and twin houses, while around 30% is allocated to apartment buildings. A substantial part of the development is planned as landscaped gardens, open spaces, pedestrian paths, artificial lakes, and water features, providing wider views and greater separation between residential buildings. The available property mix includes studios starting from approximately 47 square metres, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments, townhouses starting from around 232 square metres, and twin houses starting from approximately 282 square metres. Planned amenities include a clubhouse, swimming pools, a fitness centre, a health club and spa, children’s areas, landscaped parks, retail outlets, restaurants, cafés, parking facilities, maintenance services, gated entrances, and 24-hour security. Canyon 8 is currently marketed as an off-plan development. Published project information indicates an expected delivery date in 2029. Payment arrangements vary according to the sales offer and may include installment periods of up to 10 or 12 years.
