EastTown

Eastown SODIC is a premium mixed-use community in New Cairo, positioned directly on Road 90 and immediately adjacent to the American University in Cairo. The overall development covers approximately 204 acres, while historical SODIC reporting identifies Eastown Residences as an approximately 860,000-square-meter residential component containing about 2,786 units. Eastown Residences was launched in 2013, with initial deliveries beginning in 2016. The community was planned around a pedestrian-oriented lifestyle, combining residential neighborhoods with landscaped open spaces, pocket parks, walking and cycling routes, water features and integrated commercial destinations. Club S Eastown provides a major lifestyle anchor with fitness facilities, swimming pools, sports courts, wellness services and social and dining facilities. Eastown also incorporates EDNC, SODIC’s principal East Cairo commercial destination, offering offices, premium retail, restaurants and other services. Its location provides direct connectivity to New Cairo’s Road 90 corridor and proximity to the Ring Road. Published project information places the New Administrative Capital at roughly 20 minutes away and Cairo International Airport at approximately 25 minutes under typical driving conditions. Residential inventory includes apartments, duplexes and penthouses. Large parts of the established community are already occupied and ready to move into, while current property-market platforms also display newer inventory with delivery extending to Q4 2027. This combination of an established residential population, a mature rental market, strong commercial infrastructure and proximity to AUC makes Eastown one of the more established premium residential communities in the Fifth Settlement.
